Naturae Expands Its Farms for the 2019 Season
New York, New York (September 3, 2019) To enjoy complete control of their raw hemp input and ensure the highest quality, full-spectrum, THC-free products, New-York based Naturae grows its hemp on its own farms, which have been expanded in 2019.
HempChain Farms refers to the 189 acres of Naturae’s farmland that are situated in Berlin, New York, three hours north of Manhattan and twenty minutes from Massachusetts and Vermont. 21 of its acres are planted in biodegradable plastic with irrigation. The hemp varieties found here include Sucati T2, Stormy Daniels, Cherry Blossom, Silver Haze, and Elektra.
The Cherry Plain was added to HempChain Farms in 2019. This addition consists of 15 acres that are also planted with biodegradable plastic with irrigation. It includes the Cherry Blossom and O2 Cherry hemp varieties.
Through the expansion of HempChain Farms, Naturae expects its flower production capabilities for 2019 to be approximately 60,000 pounds. In 2020, the company is hoping this number will more than double and be somewhere around 140,000 pounds.
“Our farm focuses on producing consistent, high-quality organic hemp flower for extraction. We were licensed in December of 2017 by the Department of Agriculture and Markets to research various CBD varietals of feminized hemp; HempChain is leading in the development of infrastructure to ensure strategic industry progression on the east coast. We are proud to announce an expansion of our farming operation by more than double, and prouder still of all the hard work our team has put in this season.” says Nicolas Guarino, Chief AG Officer and Co-Founder.
Each and every one of Naturae’s plants are feminized and everything that is grown on the farm uses organic fertility, weed control, and pest control practices. The company has pruned more than 30,000 plants during cultivation.
